I am a holistic healer looking to provide healing, comfort and guidance to others without the use of harsh or invasive treatments.

I have been a Reiki Master for over 12 years and have practicing many different types of holistic health methods for over 14 years. I had the honour of studying under some of the best healers in Canada. While the majority of my sessions are conducted in the greater Toronto area; I have had the pleasure of conducting sessions as far as Virginia, Louisiana and Thailand.

In addition, I conduct Intuitive Readings, Paranormal Investigations and House Clearings. I have been featured on 2 TV Shows (Roger’s “Arts In B-Town” and YTV’s “Ghost Trackers”) as an “expert” regarding my paranormal investigations at the Heritage Theatre in Brampton.

I studied Holistic nutrition as well and do guided imagery. I am originally from Winnipeg Manitoba, and moved to Ontario 3 years ago. I reside in Caledon East with my fiance. I have been practicing yoga myself for 15 years and have been teaching yoga for the last two. I am certified and registered with Yoga Alliance. Taking my yoga teacher training has opened a whole new universe for me. I offer intimate yoga/pilates classes, ranging from power flow to yin yoga. Classes are 1.25 hr in length, three times a week. I keep the class sizes small to offer guidance and adjustments. I also have my Reiki II. I am presenting working on getting certified in Quantum Touch. I support individuals in transforming what is painful and difficult into meaning, space and new life. For couples, I facilitate connection with the flow of loving that comes from deep listening to self and other.

My vocation is communication. Listening for and conveying information and meaning have been the focus of my professional experience and training in counselling, journalism and translation, among other things.

I have training in Focusing and conflict resolution (Nonviolent Communication and Restorative Circles), as well as suicide and crisis intervention (ASIST). I have specific skills for supporting people through life transitions and with chronic illness, for supporting family and friends regarding substance abuse/addiction (including addiction assessment and referral), and can also address domestic violence and trauma.

I am currently a student in the Masters of Counselling and Spirituality program at the University of St. Paul, Ottawa; psychology and social work were my other undergraduate and graduate fields of study. I am a certification candidate for Focusing, and Nonviolent Communication, have studied reiki and the Tapas Acupressure Technique, and am a multiply-certified yoga teacher, having training in Kripalu, Viniyoga and Integrative Yoga Therapy, and practiced yoga since I was a child.

Since experiencing a serious illness in 2002, compassionate authenticity has become my guiding principle and life practice.
