Innisfree Shool of Hypnosis Education is authorized by both the Ontario Government and the Candian Government [Ministry of Human Resources and Skills Development}. It offers a 6 month inensive, rigorous training to those of mature years [over 35] and who posess a college or university education. It is the goal of Innisfree to train Consulting Hypnotherapists far further thasn the weekend training courses of some hypnosis assoicatiopns. It is also the goal to teach ALL the beginning tools to Innisfree students rather than have them come back to learn them. Innisfree approaches hypnosis as consciousness and bases the training on the teachings of 3 great clinical hypnotists Milton Erckson M.D., Dave Elman and Randall Churchill PhD.

The course is tough and demanding - reading, writng, research, and practice are required continually. Students must also be working on their own issues through hypnosis. It is possible to have gained 400+ hourse by the end of this course. An additionl program of 24 hours is included in the price. It features further transpersonal work.

Innisfree works with the whole area of consciousness from the clinical needs  for pain to releasing spiritual entities. Students are taught in groups of 4 maximum and sometimes individually. They must leave all religious forms at the door and be willing to go past their own academic training [if they are in the medical or mental health profession].

Classes are 4 hours with an expectation of 5 or more ours work being done between classes. Classes are offered during the week at night or on weekends.

My name is Lucinda Pollit and I live and work in Burlington, Ontario. I offer Reiki treatments and Raindrop Technique in the comfort of my home (contact for more information). If you prefer a more clinical location I also work at Core Link Wellness Centre. I also teach Reiki Level I, II and Master level; and offer various workshops in different locations in the community.

A graduate of a 2 year Certified Holistic Practitioner Program (2004-2005); I am a Practitioner and Teacher of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. As a Registered Practitioner and Teacher with the Canadian Reiki Association (CRA) I am fully qualified to teach all levels of Usui Reiki. I offer my students a complete course of study according to the standards set out by the CRA, and the appropriate certification to successful students.

I am a certified Raindrop Technique® practitioner and offer Raindrop Therapy (RT) using the beautiful, therapeutic essential oils from Young Living Essential Oils Company.

The Hive and Grove was established as a place to bring together individual exploration and personal therapy work with group learning and meaningful discovery. Whether you are interested in pursuing individual or couples therapy, learning about aspects of living a full, satisfied and meaningful life through different courses or meeting with like-minded people, The Hive and Grove has offerings to suit many varied paths.

The Hive and Grove is thrilled to offer courses from the Transformational Arts College of Spiritual and Holistic Training's "Discovering the Total Self" Program. These 10 courses cover elements of both emotional and spiritual healing. They can be taken for personal interest and self-discovery or as prerequisites for Transformational Arts' Professional Training Programs and are eligible for Tuition Tax Credits.

Holistic Counsellor

Tracy is a Holistic Counsellor who practices Individual and Family Counselling from the perspective of whole health. She helps people identify unhealthy thinking and behaviour patterns that cause them to repeat the same conflicts. Tracy teaches clients to improve communication and boundaries so relationships become easier and more enjoyable. She also encourages people to find balance (body, mind, spirit), through teaching and practice.

Universal Oneness United Faith Canada is an interfaith spiritual community that operates as Universal Oneness Spiritual Center in Burlington, Ontario.

Our goal is to break down the barriers that have created religious intolerance by demonstrating that we all follow the same spiritual paths. While the words and names may be different, the beliefs are amazingly similar. The series of presentations and services in the upcoming year will explore the common underlying themes, central in so many of the world's spiritual systems.

In the fall of 2010 Julie Wilson and Mark Reynolds decided to combine their talents and form Wilson&Reynolds reflexology. Both Julie and Mark studied and received their certification at the Canadian Academy of Reflexology and Deep Muscle Therapy in Waterloo, Ontario. It was during their studies that Julie and Mark began to see the validity and effectiveness of regular reflexology treatments.

Julie and Mark come from a diverse background in the private sector. Their common desire to give back and make a difference in people’s lives led them to pursue the complementary health modality of reflexology.

Reflexology results are to relax, reduce stress, increase circulation, and balance the systems of the body. Reflexology can be used to help boost the immune system, provide relief from pain and anxiety, improve digestive and circulatory issues, help with the pressure of headaches and migraines, provide relief from symptoms of menopause and PMS, lower stress levels, and generally provide a better quality of life.

In the spring of 2008, Mark initiated a reflexology program at Hopespring Cancer Support Centre in Waterloo. Many studies have shown that reflexology is effective in providing relief from pain and anxiety. At the time, Hopespring did not offer reflexology. Now, reflexology is by far the most sought after modality at the centre. This is a testament to the effectiveness of this amazing natural therapy.

The future and scope of reflexology will continue to expand as this wonderfully effective therapy is more widely understood.

Komyo Reiki

Born and raised in Japan I absorbed the perceptions and ways of thinking of the Japanese through osmosis. From my earliest recollections I have been interested in the stories of the "bushi" (samurai) and their code of conduct and training methods. The lighter side of my interests include a love of dance, music and reading. All of this became a good catalyst for me later on when I discovered "ki" (energy).

The spiritual aspects of a person's life - be it a religious calling, or a personal journey - has always fascinated me.I have always been comfortable with the idea of being a spiritual being in a physical body and that we are part of everything around us. Natural healing is an offshoot of this thought.

I came to Canada 40 years ago and call it home. Continuing my never-ending search for "something", Life finally in 1995 led me to a group of healers in various professions. I chose Reiki after my first experience because I felt very much at home both with concept and the feeling. It was very definitely a feeling of 'coming home'. At the same time I felt a need to do Tai Chi and started in 1996. These two Asian arts have sustained me throughout the past ten years and I take much joy in both practicing and teaching.

I offer free-of-charge individual consultations and informational talks to groups who are interested in learning more about the therapy and lifestyle of Komyo Reiki.
